Three riders fined
PA Greymouth Three riders were fined for causing Interference at Greymouth races on Monday. P. M. D. Mein was fined 8200 for allowing his horse Apple Roona to run out in the straight in the flrat Totara Lodge Malden, interfering with Granola, which was subsequently promoted Io first, Apple Roona was relegated to second. G. W. Blair was fined *lOO. after his horse Krandaia won the Kings Maiden, for interfering with the third-placed horse. Hessen Cassel, near the line. Krandals, an inquiry committee was told, was ridden into a gap between Mount Grey, on the inside and Hessen Cassel, on the outside and made contact with the latter 20m before the post, with the result that Hessen Cassel became unbalanced for two or three strides. Holding that the chanees of Hessen Cassel had been affected, the judicial committee relegated Krandais to third, placing the second horse. Battle Flash, first and promoting Hessen Cassel from third to second. B. A. Inglis was fined **o for allowing his horse. Peligro tn the Greymouth Handicap to shift ground inwards, checking Cee Sharp and forcing Miss Cheval against the running rath
