Patrons at Addington Raceway during the rest of the current season will have the opportunity oi winning $lOO in betting money, which will be used at the meeting following that on which the winning name is drawn. The competition, run in conjunction by the . three clubs racing at Addington and the Trotting Trainers and Drivers’ Association, will have 20 draws altogether during the remainder of the season, with two draws being made at three meetings.
The first draw will take place at the New Brighton Club’s meeting on Saturday and the winner will be able to bet $lOO on horses of their choice at the Canterbury Park meeting on New Year’s Day. Entry forms will be contained in the official race book and these will have to be placed in a barrel situated between the birdcage and the public grandstand. One name will be drawn after the sixth race on Saturday and at succeeding meetings. The winner will have to advise officials of the club
