Government securities
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand reports that, in the iweek to Nevember 16, there (were 43 transactions involving Government securities, totalling $59,804,930. Of this total, 18 transactions, totalling $53,550,000 involved treasury bills. The weighted-average yeild for treasury bill sales was all 10.811 per cent.
Sales of Government stock totalled $6,254,930 from 25 transactions. The weightedaverage yield for stocks maturing under two years ; was 12.066 per cent, from two [to five years 13.151 per cent, and over five years 12.997 per cent. The above transactions do [not include those with the [Reserve Bank.
