Vilas wins tennis title
NZPA-Reuter Buenos Aires Guillermo Vilas beat a fellow Argentinian, Jose Luis Clerc, 6-1. 6-2, 6-1, yesterday to win the Argentine Open Tennis championship. * Vilas has won the title in six of the last seven years.
Tomas Smid, of Czechoslavakia, and Sherwood Stewart, of the United States, beat the Brazilians, | Marcos Hocevar and Joao 'Soares, 6-1, 7-5, in the * doubles final.
