The Canterbury Clerical Workers’ Union has become the largest union in Canterbury. In 12 months th® | membership has increased ,2000 to a total of 10.000. This, combined with higher activity from the field staff and the negotiation of voluntary agreements with employers for automatic deduction of union fees has helped boost the membership.
