Koreign retired

Special Correspondent Palmerston North Koreign has been retired after bowing a tendon when winning the Hatuma Lime Handicap at Awapuni last week. A mare by Sovereign Prince out of Korjus, Koreign has already been sent to the stud and will be mated with Ashabit. She is owned by Messrs Clive Robinson and Clem Goss, the latter having trained her throughout her career at Awapuni. Koreign gave both Goss s sons, Ashley and Paul, their first winning rides at totalisatdr meetings.
