Century, hat-tricks, in lower grades
Two hat-tricks were taken and century scored in lower grade cricket on Saturday Tha hat-tricks came in the Binth and president s grade. Les Davidson of the Lancaster Park ninth grade team, took six for £6 against St Albans while J. Harris (Sydenham President’s trader took four for 13 against agt-Shiriey. The only century came from Paul Hammond, who scored 128 for Old Collegians B against Lancaster Par< in the Presidents grade. P. Smith < East-Shirley sixth grades was 72 not out overnight against Burnside-West University B. He was dismissed for 95, uhile his team-mate, Graeme Densem, had a match analysis of 12 tor 115. R. Jamieson <St Albans sixth gradei was the only player to pick up seven wickets in an innings on Saturday. There was a £-ood ucauie from A. Hughes Lancaster Parit third grade! and a very exciting finish to the fifth grade between Marist and Burnside-West. At the end, Bumside-West needed five runs for victory with one wicket left. Luke 5/16) drew with Lancaster Park 178/8 dec. and 125/9 ip. Fitzsimmons 6/38). _ Burnside-West 147/8 dec. and 177/8 beat East-Shirley 113 and 144 (McMahon 5/49).
