A record November blizzard sweeping across the American West with winds up to 112 km/h virtually ;hut down parts of the tates of Colorado, Wyomag, and Nebraska yesterday md stranded holiday travelers in snowdrifts up to ,4m deep. The storm, in the hird day of an assault that eft at least seven people ead, closed many main ighways in the three states nd forced schools to turn nt early for the Thanksgiving holiday.—Denver.
