Pigeon racing
Five Hundred and twenty-five birds started in the Christchurch Racing Pigeon Federation’s race from Palmerston North recently and the first home covered the distance in five hours 10 min. Colin Warren, of the North Christchurch Pigeon Flying Club, timed in the first bird and the East Christchurch club filled the next five positions.
