Better bull sale
Prices were at a much better level at the annual sale of the Waiho Downs Angus stud of Messrs P. W. G. and D. W. Millton held in the Whataroa saleyards.
The 23 bulls offered were an even line in very good condition. All were sold at auction for an
average of $909 compared with $682 last year. The top priced animal went to Sullivan Brothers at Fox Glacier for $lB5O. Condon Farms (Mahitahi) also bought one at $l6OO, the estate F. A. and R. F. Pamment (Whataroa) another at $lOOO and Okuku Hill station (Oxford) one at $l4OO.
