Addington Market Cattle values up at special sale
Store cattle prices advanced i jy up to S2u at yesterday’s special Addington sale. Last week’s store cattle market was oversupplied with a | -ally of 1255 but nearly all of • the' 1486 cattle sold yesterday j reached values prevalent up un- i til last week. There was a particularly J strong demand for yearling Heers and heifers and strong: competition from runholders at the sale ensured good prices. Yesterday's sale was orderly, without the interference of fat cattle. Three-year steers made between $295 and $384, two-year: 5245 to 5342. and yearling $2OB to $252. Two-year heifers were Sl9B and $261 and yearling heifers $164 to $223. i Among leading sales were. — I Yearlings: A.
