F GROUP ACCOUNTANT (CHRISTCHURCH. AROUND $l6/17,000 + CAR + BENEFITS This appointment becomes available due to a promotion. The Company manufactures and markets a diverse range of quality consumer products throughout New Zealand and overseas. This progressive New Zealand Public Company has demonstrated considerable innovative leadership in developing firmly established export markets as well as having a dominant share of the local market. The successful applicant will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for inter company accounting; group consolidations; costing; assist in export administration; and staff supervision. The location is in the Head Office, Christchurch City REQUIREMENTS: • A good financial accounting background is essential, and some experience in a manufacturing enviornment would be an advantage. • Initiative and ability to identify and interpret financial performance. • A fully qualified person by degree and or A.C.A • Age range flexible, but preferably late twenties or early thirties age group. • Knowledge or interest in exporting and the use of an 'in-house' mini-computer as a management tool. • Ability to organise and motivate staff.
