Here is a large-ball game for two or more players:— You will need: 1 wastepaper basket or a box 1 large ball 1 crayon and a large piece of cardboard (for scoring) How to play. Weight the wastepaper basket or box with a flat rock or some stones. This is the goal. Select a base, within reasonable throwing distance of, the goal. Each player in turn tries to throw a goal from the base. Che aim is to write the
word donkey (or other animal). As each player scores a goal he writes one letter of the word. The winner is the player who writes the word first, and spells it correctly. Then there is hardcourt soccer for four players. You can play this version of soccer on a concrete area. The court needs to be 30 paces in length and about 12 paces in width. Mark out a court to this size with chalk. Draw a line across the middle of the' court. This is where you start, with two on esHjh side of
the half-way line, each pair facing their own goal line at either end of the court. What you will need: 1 shoe box Newspaper Sticky tape Strong brown paper and string What to do: Pack the shoe box tightly with the newspaper. Put the lid on and seal it down with the sticky tape. Wrap the box in the brown paper. Seal it. firmly and tie it with the string for extra strength. Thitf’is your ball.
Toss a coin or draw straws to decide which pair will kick first Each pair stands facing the other on either side of the middle line. The winner kicks off. Each pair tries to kick the ball over their goal line. If the ball goes over the sideline, the player opposite him kicks it back into play. The players do not use their hands, either to touch the ball or other players. After one pair has scored, one of the other two kicks off from the middle line. The winner is the pair that has most points after a given time, *
