Buller beaten 15-3
PA Westport Canterbury B defeated Buller, 15-3, in a drab rugby match in perfect conditions at Westport on Saturday. Buller held the visitors well in the first half, in spite of being down 4-3 at the interval. However, the Canterbury pack dominated the second
spell and was able to gain the possession necessary for another two tries and a field goal. Canterbury’s points came from tries by S. Hansen, T. Thomas, and P. McLaren, and a field goal by Thomas. For Buller, the full-back, R. Mumm, kicked a penalty I goal.
