TV ownership
Social Credit League members have rejected the suggestion that one television channel should be owned by private enterprise. Some delegates to the annual conference criticised the development of singular control of broadcasting, but others said opening a channel to private enterprise would only bring monopoly control. They said; one private radio station was already buying into others, and the same thing would happen with television. — (PA)
