Burger bar hold-up
Two knife-wielding youths robbed the Roadhouse Burger Bar in Belfast of $BO in cash last evening. The youths walked into the otherwise deserted bar on the Main North Road about 9.25 threatened the attendant with 20cm butcher’s knives, and demanded the contents of the till. They ran off with the money, and are believed to
have continued their getaway in a car. No trace had been found of the youths by late last evening, in spite of an intensive search of the area by policemen using tracker dogs. “The dogs picked up a track, but it ended where the offenders probably got into a car,” a police spokesman said. The burger bar attendant was not injured.
Police described the men as being male Caucasians, about 20 years of age. One was said to be sft lOin tall, of slim build, “bandy,” with short ginger hair; wearing jeans and a light brown battle jacket The other man was said to be about 18 years old, of slim build, with short dark hair, wearing a grey jersey and jeans.
