Public Notices CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY BYLAW No. 104 (1979) CONTROL OF DOGS PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Christchurch City Council, at an Ordinary Meeting held in the City Council Chambers, 194 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Monday the 20th day of August 1979, passed a resolution to make a Bylaw, the short title of which will be “The Christchurch City Bylaw No. 104 (1979) — Control of Dogs.” • The object or purport of the proposed Bylaw is to repeal all clauses throughout five Bvlaws which refer to the Control of Dogs and to provide for the following matters in the proposed new Bylaw in a revised and consolidated form:
Licence to keep three or more dogs. Control of dogs. Female and diseased dogs. Fouling of footways. Barking dogs. Release from Pound. Offences and penalties. IT IS HEREBY FURTHER PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Christchurch City Council to be held in the City Council Chambers, situated as aforesaid, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 15th day of October 1979, for confirmation by way of Special Order and that a full copy of the said proposed Bylaw is deposited at the office of the Chief City Health Inspector, 216 Manchester Street, Christchurch, and is now open to the inspection of the public, without fee. during office hours from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
