Show jumping victory
New Zealand has won the Goodwill Trophy for show jumping in the biennial Inter-Pacific Pony Club Exchange competition in Perth. The standard of riding was first-class. A third jump-off Was necessary to decide the winner, and New Zealand beat Canada to win the trophy. There were six members in the New Zealand team including Bryan Harris of Cheviot from the CanterburyWestland area, and ( Jennifer Inglis from the Nelson-Marl-borough am, who is the team captam.
