PA Auckland Many downtown Auckland computers had a sharp attack of the hiccups yesterday morning when visiting warships berthed at Princes Wharf began testing radar. The Auckland Harbour Board had several complaints from business houses immediately the powerful aerials began revolving. Dies taphones itj the Air New Zealand building also “went on the blink.” An urgent plea went out by the Royal New Zealand Navy’s liaison officer asking for co-operation in getting the city’s business life back to normal.
