N.Z. sales increase to Hong Kong
NZPA Hong Kong New Zealand’s export sales to Hong Kong seem likely to increase by about 20 per cent this year. Officials in Hong Kong said that in the first six months of this year. New Zealand sold about SNZ3O million worth of products to Hong Kong on a cost, insurance, and freight basis. This was SNZS million ahead of the comparative figure for 1978. They said the increased sum reflected both higher sales and a degree of compensation fcfr inflationary trends. Sales increased for steel and plywood. Purchases of New Zealand dairy products and meat were inhibited only by shortages of supply.
