The reports of the Police Department, the National Library Trustees, and National Librarian, and the Government Insurance Commissioner were tabled when Parliament sat at 9 a.m. yesterday. Members tabled 11 notices of motion. Minis-, ters answered 21 questions. The Electrical Registration Bill was introduced and referred to the Labour
Committee and the Electric Power Boards Amendment' Bill was introduced: and referred to the Com-, merce and Mining Committee. Mr P. C. East (Nat, Rotorua) was given leave to introduce the Criminal Justice Amendment Bill, which was referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The Litter Bill was reported back from the Local Bills Select Committee, with amendments.
