Tenders for new bank
Tenders have been called for vie demolition of the Commercial Bank of Australia’s premises in Hereford Street and the construction of a new building. A spokesman for the architect, Warren and Mahoney, said yesterday that tenders would close in the middle of August. No decision on when work would start could be expected from the Australian-based board of directors until later this year. 7
