Three life memberships
Mr Des Parker, fnner secretary-manager of the! three Addington-based trotting clubs, was elected a life member of the Canterbury Trotting Club at the annual meeting last evening. This makes Mr Parker: unique for he is the first!
■ person to have been elected a life member of the three . clubs. Early this month the \ honour was bestowed on ' him by the Metropolitan Trotting Club and he was ■ also elected a life member of • the New Brighton Club last week.
