Radio Otago profit falls

The unaudited group net profit of Radio Otago, Ltd, fell 28 per cent to $25,100 in the six months to May 31, after providing $BOO2 less for tax at $20,536. The company is experiencing reasonable trading, and given continuing demand for advertising a satisfactory result will be achieved in the year to November 30, the directors say. An interim dividend of 7.5 per cent (7.5 c a share) is payable on July 30, ex dividend on July 23. The dividend is covered 2.8 times by the profit.
