Most trainers and jockeys, including apprentices, have been unaware of such a condition, and riding engagements for the received for the likes of Bobby Vance and Roger Lang. JTie official programme contained this clause but when acceptances were sent to newspapers it was overlooked. Trainers and apprentices were busy last night trying to arrange rides.
