$1.7M for pre-school building programme
PA Wellington The Government’s preschool building programme for 1979-80 has been announced by the Minister of Education (Mr Wellington). The programme provides for spending by the Government of $1,700,000 on preschool buildings and sites in the 1979-80 financial year. About* half the money
would be needed to complete projects started in the 197879 year, including 10 kindergarten and four play centre buildings, Mr Wellington said.
Ten new kindergarten buildings, 11 new play centre buildings, and alterations and extensions to various buildings would be among projects started this financial year, he jaid.
