Double win to Canty in table tennis
Canterbury had considerable success when it met Hutt Valley and Wellington in representative table tennis fixtures in Wellington at the week-end. On Saturday it beat Wellington, 20 matches to eight, to win the Clapshaw trophy and yesterday it beat Hutt Valley by the same margin to retain the Brightwell Cup. Results:—
