French enjoy oysters
PA Invercargill i The French rugby team sampled the delicacy of raw Bluff oysters as the guests i of the Bluff Rugby Club yesterday afternoon. The visit to New Zealand’s southernmost borough also included a visit to an
oyster factory and the tourists delighted in eating the shellfish immediately after they were opened. The French manager, Mr Yves Noe, said after the outing: “It was one of the best buffets we have had since leaving France.”
