Porsche dominate
NZPA-Reuter Watkins Glen (New York) The Porsche team of West German Klaus Ludwig and the American brothers Don and Bill Whittington easily won the 175-lap Watkins Glen six hours endurance yesterday.
After competitive duels in the early stages of the race, their Porsche 935 turbo took over the lead and held it for the last two hours, averaging 157.52 km/h, well below the track record. Second place went to the Dick Barbour Performance Porsche team of San Diego
