Mr Sutherland, who has been assistant chief manager since September, 1977, has had wide experience in branch banking, and administration. Mr K. F. Smyth (right), who moves up to assistant chief manager, is at present a regional manager. He will be succeeded by Mr R. J. Grant, from Dunedin.
