PA Wellington The Human Rights Commission has endorsed the call by the Minister of Justice (Mr McLay) to appoint more women as Justices of the Peace and to ensure a better distribution of ethnic, cultural, and age groups among those appointed. Women and minority groups had too long been invisible and inaudible in their communities, the commission said.
