In accordance with the agreement reached last Friday between the directors of Brierleys Investments, Ltd, and'the directors of John Burns and Co Ltd, the takeover offer by Engineering Holdings, Ltd, a subsidiary of Brierley Investments, for the ordinary shares of John Burns has been withdrawn.
