Newcomer
A. R. (Russell) Jenkins, a fori er North Islander now with the Riccarton trainer, Tim Lalor, will ride Hi Roona in the second leg of the Ashburton T.A.B. double tomorrow if his licence comes through in time. Hi Roona will be one of three runners for Lalor's stable in the Moreton Handicap. The others are Gotta Go and Chiltern Blaze.
No rider had been engaged for Chiltern Blaze yesterday. Shane Laming will ride Gotta Go.
