Brisbane The $102,000 Stradbroke Handicap (1400 m at Eagle Farm on Saturday was a triumph for the iSydney trainer, Torn Smith who .prepared the winner, Imposing •as well as the third horse. Jovlita. Imposing, beautifully ridden {by Peter Cook, skipped away •from the field with 300 m to go land scored by three-quarters of , a length from Gentle James with 'Joyita a long head away, third, j Never Despair was only a head away fourth. Smith, who has won most of Australia’s greatest classics, had previously won the Stradbroke with Kiisherry. Imposing received strong backing on the course and started the 13-to-2 joint-second I favourite with Stylee, which finlished fifth.
