PA Wellington Mr N. R. Woods, an executive officer of the Meat Board, has been appointed to the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris as head of its agricultural trade and marketing division. He will be on secondment from the board for three years from next month. Mr Woods was a farm economist with the Min-

istry of Agriculture and from 1963 to 1969 was agricultural adviser to the High Commission in London. In 1972, he joined the Meat Board as its European adviser, based in Brussels. He returned to Wellington in 1977. From 1975 until this year he was chairman of the meats and feeds group of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers.
