The silver screen has brought many comicbook heroes to life — among them Superman, Flash Gordon, The Lone Ranger, arid Captain Marvel.
9.00: THE RAY WOOLF SHOW. Lively variety show presented by one of this country’s most talented entertainers. 9.30: NEWS. WEATHER. 9.40: DANGER FREAKS. The dizzy thrills of balloon, kite, and parachute stunts. (Final). 10.40: TV MOVIE. “Run, Simon, Run.” (Aaron Spelling). Burt Reynolds stars as an Indian tom by his love for a social worker (Inger Stevens) and his need to avenge a brother’s death. (Repeat). 12.00: NEWS, WEATHER.

Review of weekly show business scene 6.50: THE WORLD AROUND US. “HotBlooded Dinosaurs.” The documentary challenges the idea that the dinosaurs are extinct.

Edward Woodward (“Callan”) stars as a leader of the resistance in this eight-part drama series about life in the last decade of this century — a time when the individual’s rights have been lost.
