Fletcher firm to build hotel in Australia
An Australian subsidiary of Fletcher Holdings, Ltd, the Fletcher Organisatio Pty, Ltd, is planning to build a S24M 500-room hotel close to Sydney’s international airport. The hotel will be run in conjunction with an international hotel organisation, which had yet to be named. Construction will begin at the end of this year, and the i first stage of 220 rooms, ■will open in 1981. The second and final stage is to be completed in 1986. The hotel is planned for ; “stop over” purposes for business people, rather than i tourists.
