No abortion prosecution
PA Hamilton The police have completed their investigations into a Te Awamutu woman’s assertion that she has been teaching seif-abortion techniques. Carol Lamb told the “Waikato Times" early last month that she had been teaching women menstrual extraction techniques for 18 months. After a report was printed the police investigated the matter. The head of the Hamilton Detective Inspector B. W. James, said that police inquiries had ended and that no prosecution would be taken against Ms Lamb.
