Ex-Shah moving?
NZPA-Reuter Nassau (Bahamas) The exiled former Shah of Iran, faced with the threat of assassination, will leave the Bahamas today for an undisclosed destination, according to the police guarding the ousted monarch. Other sources say he has left already. The sources at Nassau Airport said that the former Shah and his wife. Farah, had left for Costa Rica on Monday. But there was no official' comment in the Bahamas and Costa Rican officials denied that the former Shah was in their country. The Costa Rican Deputy Foreign Minister (Mr Bernd Niehaus) said the Government had received no request from the deposed monarch for political asylum.
