Egg prices raised

PA Wellington The Egg Marketing Authority has announced an increase of 3c a dozen in the retail price for all grades of eggs in the North Isalnd (including Nelson and Marlborough), and 1c a dozen in the rest of the South Island. The new prices will apply from today. The increase in the North Island price has been to offset an increase in the cost of poultry feed, together with an increase of 1c a dozen in the distribution allowance.
