The following is the estimate of expenditure approved by the Christchurch Transport. Board under Section 41 of the Christchurch Tramway District Act. 1920, for the period from the Ist day of April 1979 to the 31st day of March 1980, and is published for general information. IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that it is the intention of the Christchurch Transport Board at A Special Meeting of the Board to be held in the Christchurch Transport Board, Board Room, Cathedral Square, Christchurch at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday May 31, 1979 to make a general rate of .11257 cents in the dollar on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the Christchurch Transport District for the period commencing on the Ist day of April 1979 and ending on the 31st day of March 1980, and to confirm as a Special Order at a subsequent meeting of the Board the resolution so passed, such rate as adjusted in terms of Part IX of the Rating Act 1967, to be levied and collected by the Christchurch City Council, the Riccarton Borough Council, and the Waimairi, Heathcote and Paparua County Councils within their respective districts and to be payable in one sum or in instalments on the days respectively appointed by the said Local Bodies for the payment of rates for their respective districts, DATED AT CHRISTCHURCH THIS FOURTEENTH DAY OF MAY, 1979.
