An eight-storey shop and office block costing S2.BM will soon be built in Hereford Street for the National Mutual Life Association. The complex would in-
elude a two-level shopping arcade through to High Street, and a pedestrian link with the Cashel Street parking building, said the firm’s New Zealand manager (Mr G. Hoskins).
Work on clearing the site began last December. The arcade is expected to be finished by June, 1980. Office accommodation, most of which will be leased, should be com-
pleted bv December next year. The building contract has been let to Fletcher Development Construction, Ltd. The architects are Warren and Mahoney.
