. The United States reached the semi-finals of the $250,000 Nations Cup tennis tournament in Duesseldorf, West Germany, on Saturday, by beating Mexico, 3-0. The U.S. team will meet Italy today and Australia will play Argentina, which beat the defending champion, Spain, 2-1. — NZPA-Reuter.
