Abortion policy

Sir,—ln reply to E. Martin (May 8) I would like to point out that parents with one, two or three children are often conservation and ecology conscious, and concerned about population explosion. They are also aware that they cam cope efficiently and happily with the mental and physical needs of their offspring, thereby increasing the chances of producing mature, caring, well-adjusted

people. Just because many of us feel we could not cope adequately with the incessant demands of large numbers of children, does not mean we are selfish. — Yours, etc., MRS E. E. CLARK. May 8, 1979.
