Truck fire was arson
The police are treating as arson a fire' which badly damaged a bin-hire rubbish truck at the Mairehau Service Station early yesterday. The arsonist started the fire by pouring an accelerant into the fuse box of the truck, according to the oolice. The fire, which occurred between 10 p.m. on Monday and 6.30 a.m. yesterday, went unnoticed. It caused severe damage to the wiring md cab of the truck. No arrest had been made >y last evening.
