PA Auckland ; man found dead in a I bar toilet after being assaulted by two youths had (died from a spontaneous [condition that could not be (directly attributed to the accused. the Magistrates (Court at Auckland was told. I Before Mr N. R. Taylor, S.M., were James Flavell Hunt, aged 21. an unemployed painter, of Mount Eden, and Michael Ngari McGregor, aged 21, a labourer, of Greenlane. Both pleaded guilty to an (indictable charge of assault with intent to rob, and were remanded in custody to the I Supreme Court for sentence. I Sergeant G. Narbey said
that at 5 p.m. on March 24: the accused were drinking ini a bar of a lower-city hotel. L They had been in two otheril hotels during the day. McGregor asked Hunt to lend : him some money so that he ; could continue drinking, but Hunt was unable to do so. i They decided to rob some- . body in the hotel’s toilet. .
