FOREST SERVICE LOW PRUNING: ASHLEY FOREST WRITTEN tenders are invited for the Low Pruning of approximately 57ha of Ashley Forest. Lot 1: Compartment 323, 23 ha. Lot 2: r mpartment 324, 34 ha. Conditions of Tender: 1 The Forest Service can supply Porter pruners and jacksaws. If supplied a deposit covering the capital value of each item will be required. Such deposit will be refunded on satisfactory return of equipment. 2 The contract will be on standard NZFS Form D 43 which must be signed within 14 days of acceptance of tender and before work 3 Tenderers should inspect the areas. This can be arranged through Forest Ranger G. J. Cserney, Ashley Forest, telephone 8015 Rangiora from whom details of work may be obtained. 4 Work must start on or before June 10, 1979 and be completed before July 31, 1979. 5 Tenders should state a price/ha/lot. : 6 Preference will be given to tenders of known, experience and skill. CONDITIONS OF TENDER (1) Tenderers must inspect the areas prior to submitting tenders and should do this by arrangement with the Officer in Charge, Omihi Forest, Telephone 708 Waipara or 705 Waii para after hours. (2) Tenders should state a price/ha/lot. (3) Work must start on or before May 28. 1979, and be completed no lafer than July 1, 1979. (4) The contract will be on standard New Zealand Forest Service form D 43 which must be signed within fourteen days of acceptance of tender and before work commences. (5) Preference will be given to tenderers of experience and skill. One or more lots may be allocated to each successful tenderer.
