Six cars in collisions

Six cars collided during two separate accidents near the Addington Raceway early last evening. Nobody was seriously injured. The “nose-to-tail” collisions occurred just before 7.30 p.m. amid heavy traffic bound for the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington. One woman passenger suffered minor facial injuries in a four-car collision. She was treated at Christchurch Hospital and discharged.
