Easter fours off
The Christchurch Easter fours bowls tournament was abandoned on Saturday morning after rain had brought further disruptions. The first day, the previous week-end, had to be cancelled because of the weather. On Saturday the organ-
isers hoped to get plai started about 11 a.m., but some greens were still undei water. The next step was to try and continue the section rounds yesterday, but this failed when it was found that there were not enough town greens available.
