Coming to Canterbury

Pan Jet will be having his last race from Garth Ivil’s Awapuni Stable in the second leg of the Nelson Jockey Club’s T.A.B. double today. He is to be prepared for his future racing by the Tuahiwi trainer. Ray Harris, I who will race the five-year-old in partnership with Mrs N. Z. Child and Mr D. G. Le i Compte. Pan Jet won the 1400 m sprint on the first day of the Nelson meeting. He is back to 1200 m today, and he will not surprise many if he does it all in front today. Pan Jet’s most recent win was in the ownership of Ivil and Mr J. L. Jervis, of Levin.
